Girl In The Wild is the charitable dream of our Chief Creative Renegade, Kim. Launched in 2018, the organization provides free confidence-boosting camps for teenage girls in wild spaces with one very clear mission: eradicate self-loathing for good. To get it off the ground, she needed a brand with as much heart as she put into it. We knew we were the right team for the job.

We designed a brand that exuded all good things—love, self-respect, environmental stewardship, joy, and hope.
The logo is a simple linear creation that embodies Girl In The Wild’s overarching goal: To help girls rise through adventure-based learning experiences. It mixes in heart and diamond shapes (self-love for the gems we are!) into mountain scenery with the sun rising hopefully overtop. It is the epitome of a life of self-love and immense joy in the wild.
To adhere to Girl In The Wild’s strict sustainability and environmental stewardship principles, we helped them partner with local, sustainable, and fair trade clothing manufacturers to create a line of adventure apparel. The sales form which would support the camps. We designed an exclusive adventure legging pattern and two t-shirt and tank illustrations to start.
The experience of receiving Girl In The Wild apparel matters. Heaps. And so does cost for a charitable organization with no marketing budget. So we devised a simple patterned tissue paper printed on recycled paper with veggie inks to protect apparel in the post, stickers for envelopes, and postcards to be personalized with every order.
We built a custom Shopify website to help the organization sell its wears yet also convey its mission, vision, and educational values. It’s simple, streamlined, and uniquely adventurous, too. See it live here.
From the very get-go, Girl In The Wild was clear that it would build a following and brand loyalty primarily online through Instagram. So we designed a series of Instagram templates to keep posts and stories on brand. We write and design the feed weekly so it’s always brand consistent.
